Each Morning and Evening
Today’s Community Scripture – 3/3/2025
From now on the assigned work of the Levites was to assist Aaron’s sons in the work of worship in GOD’s house: maintain courtyards and closets, keep the furniture and utensils of worship clean, take care of any extra work needed in the work of worship, and provide bread for the table and flour for the Meal Offerings and the unraised wafers—all baking and mixing, all measuring and weighing. Also they were to be present for morning prayers, thanking and praising GOD, for evening prayers, and at the service of Whole-Burnt-Offerings to GOD on Sabbath, at New Moons, and at all festivals. They were on regular duty to serve GOD according to their assignment and the required number.
1 Chronicles 23:28–31 (MSG)
– Reflection:
Morning and Evening
Every morning and evening, you need to shine where you are, to sing a song of thanks and praise when you could be complaining, and to maintain a smile when you feel like being sour. It’s not easy, but you keep reminding yourself that the Creator of the universe, the Most High God, is right there with you in every situation. He sees what you’re facing. He knows what’s unfair, the hurts, the disappointments, and the lonely nights. Sometimes, God doesn’t bring you out immediately because He wants the odds to be stacked against you in a bigger way. When He finally brings you out, it’s a greater miracle.
– Where do we go from here?
The purpose is for Him to show His glory through you, allowing others to see His power and favor in your life. Without significant tests, you won’t have a significant testimony. Without major battles, you won’t experience major victories. When you dig deep and stand before the Lord, you will feel a supernatural strength—a power that enables you to accomplish what you cannot achieve on your own.
Our Prayer for Today
Father, thank You for being worthy of my worship and songs of praise. Thank You for allowing me to stand before You every morning and evening to sing songs of victory. I declare that You are right here with me and will reveal Your glory through me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
